Dear Soi Residents and Soi Builders,

It’s election season — or as journalists call it, the best time of the year.

Speculation is swirling over whether the governor will seek reelection and who the People’s Party will tap. My feed has been dominated by reflections on the past four years, alongside analysis of what lies ahead in the BMA/BMC race.

It’s clear the Thai press has now zeroed in on this contest, with the election set for Sunday, June 28, and both the administration and the council terms ending May 21. Expect campaigning to be in full swing after that date.
